Description

The Thorlabs ASL10142-532 is a high-precision, 1" diameter aspheric lens manufactured from UV-fused silica and optimized for applications operating at 532 nm.

Its aspheric surface is designed to reduce spherical aberration compared with conventional spherical singlet lenses, providing improved focusing performance and high-quality optical output. With an effective focal length of 77.8 mm and a numerical aperture of 0.145, the lens is well suited for applications requiring efficient light collection and precise focusing.

The lens features a 532 nm V-coating with an average reflectance of less than 0.25% at 532 nm, helping to maximize transmission and minimize optical losses at the design wavelength.

The UV-fused silica substrate also provides broad wavelength capability, while the precision-polished optical surfaces offer diffraction-limited performance at discrete wavelengths from 350 to 1620 nm.
