Description

The ULTRA and ULTRA-AS Silicon Charged Particle Detectors are high-performance alpha spectroscopy detectors designed for precise measurement of alpha and beta radiation in laboratory and research environments.

These detectors utilize advanced ion-implanted silicon technology, featuring an ultra-thin entrance contact (~500 Å) that maximizes energy resolution while maintaining high detection efficiency.

Their compact geometry, with less than 1 mm spacing between the detector surface and housing, ensures maximum geometric efficiency, making them highly effective for low-activity sample analysis.

The ULTRA-AS variant is specifically engineered for ultra-low background applications, using optimized materials and detector design to reduce background noise from cosmic radiation and environmental sources.

With features such as gold-plated contacts, advanced surface passivation, and low leakage current, the ULTRA series delivers high stability, long operational lifetime, and consistent high-resolution performance.
