Description

The NEWARE CE-4008Q-5V20A is an 8-channel battery testing system designed for battery cell characterization, charge/discharge testing, and advanced energy storage research. Each channel can perform independent data acquisition and programming, allowing multiple batteries to be tested simultaneously under different conditions. The system provides four selectable current ranges from 5 mA to 20 A: 5 mA–1 A, 30 mA–6 A, 60 mA–12 A, and 150 mA–20 A. This range-switching architecture allows users to select a suitable measurement range for different test conditions and improve controllable accuracy, particularly for lower-current measurements. A key feature of the CE-4008Q-5V20A is its energy feedback system. During battery discharge, the system can recover generated energy and redistribute it to other battery channels or feed it back to the internal power grid. NEWARE specifies an energy efficiency of >65%. The CE-4008Q-5V20A supports a variety of advanced battery testing methods, including GITT, DCIR, pulse simulation, cycle-life testing, rate charge/discharge, and dQ/dV analysis. It also supports CC/CV testing, segmented recording, and DBC protocol configuration.
