Description
The NEWARE CE-5012-5V600A is a high-current battery testing system designed for power cell, EV battery, and energy storage cell testing. With 12 independently operated channels and a current range of 75 mA to 600 A per channel, it provides a flexible platform for both individual cell testing and high-current battery evaluation. The system supports channel parallel connection, allowing adjacent channels to be combined for higher-current applications. NEWARE lists configurable parallel combinations from 75 A up to 6000 A and beyond, with other configurations available according to voltage and current requirements. This makes the system scalable for different battery testing requirements. With a ≤1 ms current response time, 100 ms minimum dwell time, and 16-bit AD/DA resolution, the CE-5012-5V600A is designed for dynamic battery testing and high-current applications. It supports common battery test methods including cycle-life testing, rate charge/discharge testing, pulse simulation, GITT, and DCIR. The system also incorporates energy feedback technology, recovering energy generated during battery discharge and supplying it to other battery channels or feeding it back to the internal power grid. NEWARE specifies a minimum feedback efficiency of 65%. For production and long-duration testing, each channel supports 1 GB of offline test storage, while independent channel operation allows individual tests to continue even when another channel encounters a fault. Auxiliary voltage and temperature measurement can also be integrated for more comprehensive battery evaluation.
