Description
The NEWARE CE-8008S-5V30A is an 8-channel high-performance battery testing system designed for battery performance evaluation, high-dynamic testing, and battery materials research. Each channel can be independently controlled and programmed, allowing multiple battery cells or samples to be tested simultaneously. The system provides a 0–5 V output range with six current ranges from 300 mA to 30 A, delivering up to 150 W per channel. Both voltage and current accuracy are specified at ±0.02% F.S., supporting precise charge/discharge characterization. A major feature of the CE-8008S-5V30A is its high-speed dynamic response. NEWARE specifies a current rise time of ≤500 μs and charge/discharge switching time of ≤1 ms, together with a 20 ms minimum pulse width. These characteristics make the system suitable for dynamic battery testing and pulse-based measurements such as DCIR and fast-charging protocol evaluation. The system also incorporates >70% energy-efficient architecture, while supporting TCP/IP communication and optional CAN/RS485 interfaces for BMS-related applications. Its 4-wire connection and dual-loop CC/CV control are designed to improve measurement accuracy and control stability.
