Description
CRONUS-2P femtosecond lasers provide multiple watt-level synchronized outputs with high repetition rate, short pulse duration, and GDD control, making them the ultimate sources for nonlinear microscopy.
The microscopy-dedicated CRONUS-2P laser sources are available in the following configurations to meet diverse scientific requirements:
CRONUS-2P: Features one tunable output covering 700–1100 nm and one fixed output at 1025 nm, accessible in parallel, in a footprint as compact as 633 × 230 mm.
CRONUS-2P-XR: Offers one tunable output with an extended tuning range of 680–1300 nm and one fixed output at 1025 nm.
CRONUS-2P-DUAL: Provides two independently tunable outputs that can operate separately or simultaneously, covering 680 – 960 nm and 940 – 1300 nm, respectively, together with a third fixed output at 1025 nm.
Due to this versatility, CRONUS-2P femtosecond lasers enable simultaneous excitation of multiple fluorescent probes, calcium indicators, or opsins at their absorption maxima. Second- and third-harmonic generation (SHG and THG) signals can also be spectrally shifted to simplify detection or achieve resonant enhancement.
The tunable and synchronized outputs also enable advanced coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) and stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) applications. These include dual-band imaging, access to a broader range of vibrational resonances, constant-difference dual-beam tuning, resonant enhancement, and other advanced nonlinear imaging techniques.
