Description

The NEWARE CT-9002-5V6A-F-204N is a high-precision battery testing system designed for battery characterization requiring a wide dynamic current range, fast response, and high-speed data acquisition. With four selectable current ranges from 0.1 µA to 6 A, the system provides precise current control across both microcurrent and higher-current testing conditions. This wide range allows researchers to perform different types of battery measurements without changing to a separate tester for low- and high-current applications. The CT-9002 series provides data recording at up to 1,000 Hz and a current response time of ≤100 µs, enabling the measurement of rapid changes in battery voltage and current. NEWARE also states that its IEC-standard DCIR function uses the high-frequency dataset, allowing more DCIR values to be obtained within the same measurement period. The system supports Cycle Life, Rate Charge/Discharge, DCIR, dQ/dV, and CV testing, together with SMBus communication and programmable simulation functions. An optional discharge-to-0 V function is also available for safety, destructive, and other specialized battery tests.
