Description
The Thorlabs FBH700-10 is a hard-coated bandpass filter designed to transmit a narrow spectral band centered at 700 nm while strongly attenuating wavelengths outside the passband.
With a 10 nm FWHM bandwidth, the filter provides selective transmission around the 700 nm wavelength region, making it suitable for applications where unwanted wavelengths need to be effectively rejected while maintaining high transmission of the desired signal.
The filter provides greater than 90% transmission at 700 nm and an optical density greater than 5 across the blocking regions from 200 to 684 nm and 716 to 1200 nm. This high level of out-of-band rejection makes it useful for fluorescence detection, spectroscopy, imaging, and other optical measurement systems requiring effective spectral filtering.
The filter has a 25.0 mm diameter and a 21.1 mm clear aperture, allowing it to be integrated into standard 1" optical mounts and optical systems. Its hard-coated design provides improved coating durability compared with conventional soft-coated interference filters.
