Description
Helium compressors from Quantum Design provide the high-pressure helium gas required to operate cryogenic cooling systems such as cryostats, superconducting magnets, and helium liquefiers. The compressor circulates helium through a closed loop where the gas is compressed, cooled, and expanded in the cold head to generate extremely low temperatures.
Modern compressors use variable-speed technology to optimize cooling power depending on system demand. This approach improves energy efficiency, reduces mechanical wear, and minimizes vibration in sensitive cryogenic experiments.
