Description
The TOPTICA iBeam smart PT is a pigtailed, single-mode diode laser designed for OEM applications, providing high-quality TEM₀₀ laser output from 375 nm to 1064 nm. Its permanently attached fiber and compact design make it particularly suitable for integration into scientific instruments, measurement systems, and other space-constrained OEM platforms.
A key feature of the iBeam smart PT is TOPTICA's COOLDC technology, which is designed to maintain a constant optical output level even when ambient conditions change. The technology provides highly stable fiber coupling and eliminates the need for manual fiber realignment, making the laser suitable for systems that require long-term stability and reliable operation.
The iBeam smart PT incorporates microprocessor-based electronics and a range of integrated functions designed to simplify system integration. Depending on the selected configuration, users can take advantage of features such as FINE, SKILL, AUTOPULSE, VIPG, analog modulation, and digital modulation to optimize the laser for specific applications.
For high-speed applications, the laser supports analog modulation up to 1 MHz, while the optional digital modulation provides bandwidths of up to 250 MHz. This makes the iBeam smart PT suitable for applications requiring rapid laser intensity control and short exposure times.
