Description

The Thorlabs MPD119-M01 is a Ø1" 90° Off-Axis Parabolic (OAP) Mirror featuring a protected gold coating and a 1" reflected focal length. It is designed to efficiently focus or collimate light while providing a convenient 90° beam turn, making it particularly useful for compact and high-performance optical systems.

Unlike conventional parabolic mirrors, the off-axis configuration allows the input and output beams to be spatially separated from the mechanical axis of the mirror. This provides greater flexibility when designing optical systems where components such as detectors, light sources, or fiber-optic assemblies need to be positioned without obstructing the optical path.

The protected gold coating makes the MPD119-M01 particularly suitable for applications involving infrared wavelengths, while its 1" diameter and short 1" reflected focal length provide a compact solution for focusing and beam-collimation applications.

The mirror provides a reflected wavefront error of <λ/2 RMS at 633 nm, supporting applications where controlled optical performance is important. Three 4-40 tapped holes on the bottom provide additional mounting flexibility for integration into optical mounts and laboratory setups.

The MPD119-M01 is well suited for researchers and engineers developing laser optics, infrared optical systems, spectroscopy instruments, fiber-coupling setups, and other precision photonics applications.
