Description

The SEC2020 is a compact spectroelectrochemical system that combines spectroscopy and electrochemistry to study reaction mechanisms in real time. It enables the detection of intermediate species generated during redox processes by monitoring optical responses such as absorbance, transmittance, or fluorescence.

The system includes a spectrometer, light source, cuvette holder, and platform mounted on a stable aluminum base. Its Czerny-Turner optical design ensures high spectral quality with minimal aberration, while the wide wavelength range allows analysis from UV to near-infrared.

It can be synchronized with a potentiostat, enabling true in-situ / operando analysis, which is critical for advanced electrochemical research.
