Description

Absorption spectroscopy is used for gas sensing to monitor the environment, and it is used as a diagnostic tool for combustion and airflow to improve the efficiency of electricity generation and combustion engines. It is used in label-free microscopy for biomedical imaging and semiconductor inspection with the aim of improving human health and technology. The TOPO is also used to develop chip-based sensors that rely on mid-infrared light and for quantum communications networks that improve data security.
