Description
The NEWARE CE-6'S-BMS-24S300A is a BMS Testing System designed to evaluate the performance and control strategies of Battery Management Systems without relying on real battery packs. The system uses 24 independent simulated battery channels to reproduce individual cell voltage conditions from 0 to 6 V, with a simulated voltage accuracy of ±0.5 mV. This allows engineers to simulate cell-to-cell voltage differences and evaluate BMS functions such as voltage monitoring, SOC estimation, balancing strategies, and fault detection. A major advantage of the system is its ability to perform extreme-condition simulation without exposing real battery packs to potentially hazardous test conditions. Overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit, and abnormal cell conditions can be simulated electronically, reducing the risks associated with destructive or unsafe battery testing. The system also provides 8-channel temperature simulation, programmable high-voltage output up to 1500 V, and integrated insulation resistance simulation. These functions enable comprehensive testing of BMS voltage monitoring, temperature sensing, high-voltage protection, and insulation monitoring functions. For communication testing, the system supports multiple protocols, including CAN, RS485, I²C, SMBus, and Ethernet. The test software can simulate communication between the BMS and other devices such as the ECU, motor controller, and charger, while test sequences can be programmed or customized according to specific BMS requirements.
